Professor Hyunjoo Jenny Lee was selected as a member of '2024 Y-KAST' by KAST.

'Y-KAST(Young Korean Academy of Science and Technology)' is selected by KAST(The Korean Academy of Science and Technology) based on the outstanding academic achievements among young scientists under the age of 43. KAST selected the next-generation science and technology leader who is likely to contribute to the development of science and technology in Korea as an independent researcher.

Professor Lee was recognized for conducting human and neural interface research in the field of brain-machine interface (BMI) research and discovering for the first time that ultrasound brain stimulation could control sleep and short-term memory.
